AVAILABLE CANONS

Below is a list of the available canons for our site. Within the collapsible box is a brief description of the character, major characters relevant to them (spouses, close family members, etc.), and an optional set of links to recommended reading. Most characters' names and PBs are negotiable. If a piece of information seems to be missing, it may be up to the player's interpretation. If you are uncertain about any of this, you can contact a member of the staff through your choice of methods here. For a list of canons currently in play, look here!

Canons can be reserved! Without an application, each canon can be held only once per person for a maximum of seven days. A posted application counts as a reserve until it goes inactive.

ELAINA OF HOUSE SUNSPEAR
20 (b. 584) - Would-be Warrior - Rebellious Daughter

As a daughter of Khiros's oldest Great House, Elaina has lived much of her life under a spotlight, a position only grown more tense since Kalim entered negotiations with the Eversworn. Rumor has it they plan to marry Prince Kessler to a highborn Khirosian noble girl, and Elaina fits the bill. Dutiful though she is, Elaina longs to help her homeland some other way. Marrying a prince could mean winning her homeland back for her people at the cost of returning there herself.

A passionate speaker, she has been a steady advocate for the Eversworn in the Kalimi court and much-needed morale booster among its officers, all while pursuing archery and swordsmanship away from her conservative father's gaze.

Important Connections:Magic: Up to player.
Recommended Reading: Khiros, Khirosian Rebels (Eversworn)

Suggested PBs: Keke Palmer, Melonie Monrose, Renee Mittelstaedt

CASSANDER OF HOUSE BLADESINGER
21 (b. 583) - Heir to Bladesinger - Precious Baby Angel Cinnamon Roll

Stuborn but gentle-hearted, Cassander often feels burdened with the weight of expectation placed on him. As heir to one of Khiros's Great Houses, he faces his great-grandfather Aerin's criticism and doubt. As an active knight in the Eversworn, he faces his father's over-protective interference. Their influence has given him a constant drive to better himself built on insecurity rather than ambition, and he often struggles to think well of himself.

Despite his rocky relationship with Aerin, he has always been close with his parents and siblings. Losing his mother and two siblings in the flight from Khiros has only made him treasure the remaining members more dearly and strengthened his sense of filial duty.

Important Connections:Magic: Up to player.
Recommended Reading: Khiros, Khirosian Rebels (Eversworn)

Suggested PBs: William Moseley, Hunter Parrish, James Bradley

____ & ____ OF HOUSE ASHPOOL
25-35 - Traitor's Twins - Bad Bitches

Ashpool may forever be remembered as the Great House that betrayed the rebellion, but the decision was not unanimous. When their father turned his co-conspirators over to the Darshani, the twins stood with the Eversworn. Their loyalty has done little enough to abate their countrymen's mistrust of them, and even after eight years of loyal service, their friends are few, and their inheritance of House Ashpool in question.

The twins function as a unit, confiding in and protecting one another above all else. Though cunning and defensive, they hold themselves to a strict and unassailable standard of honor lest they be lumped in with their traitorous father. They truly believe in the cause of freeing Khiros, but their tenacity has a second agenda: to dissuade the leaders of the Eversworn from dissolving House Ashpool and splitting its assets amongst themselves.

Their paths in life are up to their players. They may have studied separately or together at the University, as Knights, or as Rangers. The sister may have studied at the Convent. They would have struggled to advance very far in rank among the Eversworn, something of an insult granted their high birth and potential training.

Important Connections: None.
Magic: Up to players.
Recommended Reading: Khiros, Khirosian Rebels (Eversworn)

Suggested PBs: Harry Lloyd & Lyndsy Fonseca; other PBs who pass as twins.

THE INNER REBELLION

In addition to those listed below, we are accepting Khirosian rebels from Aspis, Xiphos, and other smaller organizations of any rank (2nd-in-command, etc.). Please check out the info pages on Khiros and the Khirosian Rebels.

_______ LEVENTIS
Mid-30s-40s - Priestess of the Great Mother Goddess - Leader of Aspis

Never play cards with the leader of Aspis. Her regal and unshakeable calm has withstood two wars, Darshani occupation, and nearly two decades of service to her Goddess and all that entails. Using her position in the temple for safety and communication, she has grown a spy network that spans from Khanir to Khiros's furthest borders in eight short years.

She has no especial love for Khiros's nobles or their cries of honor-or-death. Her interests rest with the common people suffering under the Darshani heel. As it stands, the Eversworn's return to Khiros - with Kalimi aid no less - may be their best chance.

Important Connections: None.
Magic: Up to player.
Recommended Reading: Khiros, Khirosian Rebels (Aspis), Religion

Suggested PBs: Ayelet Zurer, Indira Varma, Gina Torres

_______ STAVROU
30-40 - Highwayman - Leader of Xiphos

Never play cards with the leader of Xiphos. He cheats.

______ was sitting in a prison cell when Iloria fell, awaiting punishment for assaulting a noble when a fortuitous catapult shot blew a hole in his cell. He freed his fellow prisoners and fled the city. Since then, his ever-growing band of merry men having been raising hell for the Darshani throughout Khiros's countryside.

His close kinship with his men belies a cut-throat, reckless hatred for the Empire. For him, it is a question of ends and means, and there is perhaps nothing he would do not risk or do to drive the Darshani from his homeland.

Important Connections:
Magic: Up to player.
Recommended Reading: Khiros, Khirosian Rebels (Xiphos)

Suggested PBs: Santiago Cabrera, Michiel Huisman, David Gandy
